As a start-up business, they needed a partner to organise and track their orders, freeing their team to focus on catering, delivery and business development.
ICS established a 24-hour answering service and created a bespoke ordering system. This meant supermarkets could place their orders as a single batch at a convenient time, streamlining the existing process.
The system monitors Host Food’s capacity and automatically evaluates whether an order can be fulfilled, enabling the operator to inform the supermarket as soon as an order is placed. In the event of a cancellation, it completely clears orders from the system.
ICS created a website on which Host Foods can check their orders and calls – past, present and future. It automatically flags up orders to Host Foods as they fall due, ensuring an order is never overlooked.
