ICS depends on over 80 key network services in order to operate without interruption to essential services, and more than 120 others are required to ensure seamless operation. We take our commitment to maximise uptime very seriously.

All new systems and procedures undergo rigorous Mission Critical testing and we perform a drill on emergency procedures once a month. We utilise hardware redundancy to ensure maximum uptime: a replacement PBX is kept onsite for immediate swapout.

Although our location benefits from an exceptional quality of public services, we utilise Verizon fibre data links that enable us to manage individual DDI call flow over multiple ISDN circuits. Automated fallover to redundant lines minimises the chance of line interruption, while an SIP-routed VoIP solution, supported by virtual number platforms, acts as a safety net in the event of the loss of ISDN service.

Server backups follow daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly rolling schedules, allowing for six captured historic states of each machine as well as numerous interim “safe points”. Mirrored RAID solutions allow us to physically remove our system state on a hard drive to provide near instant recovery. Our solution allows for complete system rebuilds from existing backups within three hours.
